This map is from www.braziltourstravel.com
Brazil is located in South America, right below North America. It takes up about 47% of South America. The Pacific Ocean surrounds the West side of Brazil and the Atlantic Ocean surrounds the East side.
- Brazil is 1.09 (109%) times larger than the US. The US is 8,080,464 sq km and Brazil is 8,514,877 sq km.
- Brazil's mager rivers are the Plateau River with lies in the South and the Amazon River Basin in the North.
- Terrain: It's mostly flat with some hills in the North and more hills and some mountains lie around the coast.
Should it be 9% or am I reading it wrong? Seems to me that if it were 109 times larger it would be a lot bigger. But very good at stating your point!
